At Interwork Architects, we strive to create connections amongst our team and within our community, to enhance our work experience.
Monthly Office Bonding
Once a month, we gather around the custom, team built, family style table in our break room, to unwind from the week’s work and develop a social “bond”. We choose a new theme every year, and each month do a menu of food and drink based on the overall theme.
Seasonal Parties
Interwork hosts a yearly employee family summer picnic where employees, spouses, and children gather for food, games and catching up with one another.
Special Gifts Theater
Interwork Architects has close connection with the Special Gifts Theater. Special Gifts Theatre is a non-profit, educational and therapeutic theatre company for individuals with intellectual disabilities. Interwork is a sponsor of their annual 5k run/walk and we put together a team each year and participate as well.
Youth Services of Glenview/Northbrook
The Youth Services of Glenview & Northbrook is an agency that provides social-emotional support for children and youth. Each year during the holiday season, Interwork participates in their holiday gift wrapping program. Families in financial need with children enrolled in programs at the Youth Services fill out wish lists that are fulfilled by sponsors and wrapped by volunteers to ensure a wonderful holiday season. Interwork has both participated as a donor and wrapping volunteers.
Holiday Design Charettes
As a company, we like to break away from our typical work load and engage in fun design charettes that stimulate different methods of design and creativity.
