Katerina O'Brien

Since joining Interwork in 2013, Katerina serves as project architect on office, medical and retail interiors as well as new buildings and building renovations. She oversees ongoing tenant improvements for several office buildings as well as design and standards coordination for a key national client. Katerina has a passion for project management and ensuring that projects, from inception through construction, are coordinated and carried out in a transparent fashion so that the design team is in constant collaboration with the client. Katerina is a licensed architect in the state of Illinois. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture from the Illinois Institute of Technology with a Minor in Construction Management.

If I weren’t an architect:  I would be an wildife conservationist

Favorite sport: Golfing with my husband

What I do for stress relief: Getting outside, no matter the weather, with my kids always helps reset our moods.
