Katerina O’Brien

Since joining Interwork in 2013, Katerina serves as project architect on office, medical and retail interiors as well as new buildings and building renovations. She oversees ongoing tenant improvements for several office buildings as well as design and standards coordination for a key national client. Most recently Katerina has been working on a 75,000 square foot multi-family condominium rebuild. Katerina assists with Interwork’s BIM/Revit office graphic standards, templates and training and serves as the Architect Licensing Advisor in the office. A licensed architect and AIA member, Katerina is NCARB certified and a Registered Energy Professional in the city of Chicago. Katerina received her Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture from the Illinois Institute of Technology with a Minor in Construction Management.

If I weren’t an architect:  I would be an animal conservationist

Favorite sport: Golf (thanks to my husband)

What I do for stress relief: I like to surround myself with nature, so I am usually planting or rearranging my interior garden.
