Northbrook Riverpark

Situated on nearly 7-1/2 acres at the edge of a creek, this office park includes almost 2 acres of unbuildable flood plain. Transforming the flood plain into a natural prairie formed a backdrop to the office park and inspired a Prairie Style feel for the buildings. The goal of providing condominium suites as small as 1,500 square feet for small medical practices and entrepreneurial businesses, and up to 9,000 square feet for professional practices led to building sizes of 6,000, 7,500 and 9,000 square feet. The building depth of 50 feet maximizes perimeter window lines, and the operable windows allow natural ventilation, scents of prairie flowers and a connection to the surrounding natural setting.
